Audientes has employed user-centered design methods to create an affordable and accessible hearing aid aimed at restoring hearing and quality of life in millions of people. With over 200 years of combined experience from e.g. Nokia, our team has created a robust, high-quality hearing aid. Using standard electronic components, we have reduced the price to 20% of what current hearing aids cost. Also, the device is rechargeable so the high cost of replacing batteries has been eliminated. The device is affordable and accessible, as there is no need for an audiologist. Audientes has literally “put the hearing clinic into the device” with self-fitting technology that allows the user to fit the device with little or no help. Therefore, the device can be sold over-the-counter in local pharmacies etc.
