Indeed, we are developing a new set of hypertonic solutions for peritoneal dialysis (PD), a renal replacement therapy whereby toxin and water removal occur through the patient's peritoneal membrane, a large membrane surrounding the organs below the diaphragm. We are also developing a cardiac platform for the treatment of advanced heart failure.
