Biodegradable compound used for the manufacture of insulating and flame retardant materials from organic materials of natural origin, originating mainly from recycling in order to promote circular economy. The proposed biodegradable compound can be used either for the manufacture of plates, panels, bricks and blocks or for the manufacture of biocement. The present proposed compound shows permanent fire resistance qualities.
Currently, both the manufacture of cement and bricks include processes of high energy consumption for the extraction of raw materials, transportation and fuel sources for heating furnaces.
Hyper [IN] intends to find a solution to the enormous challenge of fighting this pressing environmental problem, presenting a biodegradable compound whose final result can be used for the manufacture of fire-retardant, insulating materials (thermal and acoustic) such as plates, panels, bricks and blocks through a specific molding and drying process using renewable energy for application in any sector of the industry. Said suitably moistened compound may also be used as a biocement.
